the so called security amendment draconian bill

it is true that security in our country needs to be amended.. but this does not mean that we need to come again to our diverse divisive state again. i will advise kenyans to read the amendment bill before politicians come in and try to interpret it in their own understanding. it is very shameful for a man in suit to go and misbehave in parliament. .

COUNTY RANKING IN EXAM PERFOMANCE

A smaller number of candidates pushed up marginalised and arid counties in national KCSE ranking, helping them to trounce economic giants like Nairobi, Kiambu, Kajiado and Nyeri. According to the Kenya National Examinations Council, Samburu was the best performing county. However, a closer analysis reveals that it neither has any candidate in the top 100 nationally nor any top-ranked school. Siaya, Elgeyo Marakwet, West Pokot and Trans Nzoia completed the list of best-performing counties. But it is all a numbers game. Because counties are ranked on the average performance of all its students, regions with fewer candidates got an advantage over the more populous ā€” and prosperous ā€” ones. Eight of the top 10 counties registered less than 10,000 candidates, numbers that could have helped them to tilt the scales upwards even without a sterling performance from individual students. The counties are ranked based on averages of performance index of all their candidates....

KCSE 2013

County schools challenge national schools in KCSE 2013 performance I take this opportunity to congratulate county schools for their outrageous performance in K.C.S.E 2013. It is a clear indication that despite these schools having the second category of the average students they straggle to turn all locks and emerge victorious. Thirty six percent of top 100 schools nationally were county schools. Few days ago, the government standardized the secondary school fees, which had hiked due to the large number of pupils who wanted to join national schools However there is a bigger problem rather than school fees; how to treat our students with the equality they deserve. There should be another step, a step to re organize the whole education system in order to have good and quality education.   Thousands of students in Kenya end up terminating their education due to lack of school fees or failure in their exams ....
Top of Form Bottom of Form PIRACY AND BLACK MARKET IN KAJIADO Local musicians and film actors face a major blow due to piracy. Their hard work of art that include composing , recording and acting, land in wrong hands of few individuals who easily benefit after purchasing a DVD, a small screen and some loud speakers to draw the attention of customers who gullibly buy the pirated disks due to their cheap prices. The plagiarism has however taken root in most of Rongai, Kiserian and Ngong among other parts of Kajiado town. In almost of every street of Kajiado towns, there is dazzling music to entice passersby and residents. Local hitting songs are used as bait accompanied by cheap prices. The vendors shamelessly burn the songs and movies to blank CDs using hacked software. The software enables them to produce thousands of copies and sell them in large volumes. The most notorious places include Kware in Rongai, Kiserian market and Ngong market. They are lo...
the current crisis in Kenya  were caused due to gullible campaign to pass the new constitution. the governors and senator will never come to agree. when governors are being impeached they move to court to protect their offices. the African heart for fighting for power is still a major threat. the extravagance in governors offices will subject Kenya to for ever depend on foreign aid. if a single county can spend billions of money in travels and entertainment yet there are some schools with no electricity what does that suggest? Kenyans we need to wake up. but as i always say. THESE ARE MY VIEWS
