Uhuru on waiguru and all the happening of this week


The week started with the finalization of president Uhuru Kenyatta's tour at western region and rift valley. He denied protecting devolution cabinet secretary Ann Waiguru where he told Nandi hills mp Alfred Keter to keep away from her... Remember last week we highlighted the impeachment bill that Alfred Keter was to table in parliament and was later hindered by the speaker of the nation assembly alleging lack of stands
President Uhuru also said that he will support his deputy William Ruto during the 2022 general election…
Deputy president willium ruto also supported the presidents unity and defended him against waigurus allegations
Remember uhurus claims of fighting corruption were refuted by opposition co. principal raila ondinga who termed it as mare confusion.
The 14th delegation members state meeting still ongoing at the international criminal court ICC where The Kenyan delegation led by external affairs minister amina mohammed is lobbying for the support from the members state of the ICC. The 29 member delegation want the rule 68 of the ICC that allows the use of recanted evidence used in the case facing deputy president William ruto and journalist Joshua arap sang . there have been controversies on who bribed the witnesses and now they want the prosecution led by fatou bensuda to disclose the method used to collect evidence
IN WESTERN KENYA where Several people were injured after Masinde Muliro University students demonstrated at Kakamega following the death of on their college. They stormed into governor Wycliffe Operanyas offices before being intercepted by the police. Later they held demonstrations at Kakamega general hospital.
Remember the deceased  is said to have died in abnormal circumstances at kakamega hospital which has been on the spotlight in the resen days. And still in western ,Governors from this region Kenya want the sales of five companies  stopped and negotiations held afresh, jckranguma (KISUMU) OKOTH OBADO  ( MIGORI) AND PAUL CHEPKWONY (KERICHO)  wants the privatization of  ofmuhoroni, chemilil, nzoia and sony sugar stopped immediately. They accuse the commission overseeing the sales for not involving the transition authority or the governors agriculture committee.
One week after president uhuru Kenyatta held a meeting with KNUT  chair mudzo Nzili and other members ,KNUT secretary general Wilson session  held a conference this week to deliberate on the previous meeting at state house where president Uhuru Kenyatta ordered for their pay in the month of September when the teachers went on strike. sossion  maintained that teachers must have their 50-60 percent increase.
Its also this kind of a week where people felt the real eve of el nino rains. In taru area on Nairobi Mombasa highway thousands of motorists  spent more than 8 hours on traffic jam after a section of the road was impassable due to the ongoing construction work.
In narok more than nine people died and thousands left homeless after their houses were swept by mad slides
Remember before the rains started Kenyans had been warned of the dangers of el nino rains.
