MENDING THE MESS -SATIMA SACCO






Satima Sacco is going against all odds to clear the looming mess and regain its glory to thousands of passengers they ferry every day. The Nyandarua based Sacco has been accused of all manner of indiscipline cases, some true and others alleged. One of the accuses that caught our attention was an incident at Miti saba, Githabai Ward, Kinangop constituency where passengers were allegedly ditched out of nowhere   after an argument that evoked after a 10 bob increment disagreement.

“we got in the vehicle KCE 745G then the driver said the first stage 20 bob but after boarding the conductor then hiked the price, we gave him 20 bob and he angrily said  ‘are you the one paying or collecting the fare’ after an argument he asked the driver to pull over , and were forcefully ejected.” said one of the complainants.

However, contacting the Sacco , “we are taking the necessary actions because we believe in providing better services .  we have been informed about the issue and we have filed a disciplinary case against those culpable. We however wish to inform the general public not to be mislead by those who are business rivals .”said Samuel . M Mwangi , the Sacco discipline personnel  via a phone call.
The move comes some few days after a vehicle allied to the Sacco was involved in an accident in the same county.
