KIMEMIA UNDER FIRE

Kinangop is among the constituencies whose environs are captured in the poor county roads that made Nyandarua county government hit headlines.

Few hours after the poor state of Roads in Nyandarua hit the headlines, now the county government of Nyandarua is up in arms to correct the already soiled name. The governor who is trending for two bad out of many mismanagements, one a misfortunate incident where a family was forced to hire a donkey to ferry a deceased for a burial and another one in Kinangop where a video of him, which has been widely shared on social media captures Kimemia, armed with a pair of scissors, ready to cut a red ribbon to officially declare the road open.

However through an article via the county Government of Nyandarua Facebook page, the underperform government is trying to dilute the current state of poor roads as usual through a media interview with an online media.

In the interview the Acting Director – Governor’s Press Service, Mbugua Muchoki, has refuted claims that the governor ‘launched’ the road, explaining that he was actually inspecting a number of projects in Nyakio ward.
Even though the PS want to dilute the issue it is evident that the current state of the roads in Nyandarua is wanting.
