Pupils from Kihuha Primary in Shamata, Ndaragwa constituency in Nyandarua County have adopted a special technique to walk on four rails of a damaged bridge to and from school.
 The bridge which is a few kilometres from the homestead of Ndaragwa Mp Jeremiah Kioni links the larger area of Simbuku, Simbara, Shamata and Pepsi
Nyandarua County residents continue to languish in poverty and poor access to better roads even after the netizens have been vehemently complaining to the relevant authorities.

The current state of roads is seriously at risk bearing in mind that the rainy season is knocking. Pupils of Kihuha Primary must have mastered a tiptoe walking on the four wood rails that cross over the risky river.
 According to the area residents, it has been a whopping three months since the bridge got damaged.
"We have been in this situation for the last three months, currently the road is impassable and our efforts to reach the Mp Jeremiah Kioni are always shuttered." said an are resident Mr Daniel Nduhio. River.



 Despite the resident's effort of presenting the issue to the authorities, the darkness still hovers their way. The road is under the national Government, KERA, Squarely landing under the area Mp Hon Jeremiah Kioni. Up to the time of publishing this article, our efforts to have authorities respond to it have been unsuccessful.


The member of parliament has been a good confidant of governor Francis Thuita Kimemia and the duo have been attending various activities together which are dubbed development projects.
Bearly a week ago, Nyandarua County was all over the media after pictures and videos of family and friends were struggling to ferry the remains of their loved ones for a burial ceremony.
